General FAQs

Understanding the healing process is essential for achieving beautiful, long-lasting results. Here's what to expect after your eyebrow treatment:
Immediately After the Procedure:
The treated area will appear much darker and more intense than the final result.

This is completely normal and will soften over the next few days.

Mild swelling or redness is possible, but usually minimal.
For the first 10 days:
  • Avoid applying makeup or creams to the brow area
  • Refrain from intense workouts, sweating, sauna, steam rooms, and facial massages
For 30 days:
  • If you'll be exposed to the sun, wear a wide-brimmed hat to protect your brows
  • Avoid tanning beds and strong light therapies
  • No chemical peels, microdermabrasion, or facial treatments
  • Avoid products with active ingredients like AHA, retinol, or regeneration factors near the brow area

  • No laser treatments (e.g. IPL, Fraxel) over the brow area as they can damage the pigment

A 4-12 week microblading touch-up is often recommended but not always necessary. It depends on factors like skin type, pigment retention, and desired results.

During the initial healing (4-6 weeks), some pigment may fade unevenly due to skin regeneration, especially for oily or sensitive skin. A touch-up refines shape, color, and fullness, addressing any gaps or fading.

Data suggests 50% of clients benefit from a touch-up for optimal results, as pigment can fade 20-40% post-procedure.

If your brows heal evenly and you're satisfied with the look, you might skip it. However, skipping could lead to less defined or shorter-lasting results (typically 1-2 years).

Check with your technician, as they assess your specific healing and pigment retention.

A topical numbing cream is used before and during the procedure to ensure you're comfortable. Most clients find it very tolerable.

When it comes to semi-permanent makeup like microblading, nanoblading, powder, or combo brows—healed results are everything.

What you see right after the procedure is not the final look. The real transformation happens during healing, and the true beauty of your brows shows once your skin has fully recovered and the pigment has settled.

POWDER - SHADING

My Work Before - After

Shading & Powder Brows are a semi-permanent makeup technique performed using a tattoo machine with a single, flexible needle.
This method creates a soft, powdered finish—similar to the effect of filled-in brows with makeup or an ombré look—rather than individual hair strokes.
